George Regional Health & Rehab Adds New Spacious Patient Rooms

Tuesday, August 29, 2017

More than just a Nursing Home, George Regional Health & Rehab cares for patients needing short term care to get them back on their feet as well as for long term patients needing 24 hour attention. The first phase of expansion was completed in the spring of 2014, with the addition of a new 21,000 square foot building directly connected to George Regional Hospital. The facility houses a sizeable activities room and kitchen as well as a state-of-the art therapy room.

The last phase of the expansion—an additional 18 patient rooms—is now complete. An Open House & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony marked the occasion. The spacious new rooms, including a large, private bath are a generous 250 square feet allowing for plenty of room for visiting family and friends.

The staff at George Regional Health & Rehab welcomes community members to tour the facility and talk to our caregivers. For more information about George Regional Health & Rehab, please call 601-947-9101.
