In order to comply with the 2015 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) and regulations established by CMS, George Regional Health System provides the following information as a comprehensive list of standard charges for inpatient and outpatient services and items provided by our hospitals.
This information includes hospital charges and payer-specific negotiated rates and is intended to meet federal price transparency requirements. The pricing information provided is not intended to be a comparison shopping tool between hospitals and does not represent a patient’s final out-of-pocket cost.
Understanding Hospital Charges
Patient responsibility and out-of-pocket expense are determined by several factors, including but not limited to:

- – Deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance
- – Whether services are provided by in-network or out-of-network providers
