Guest Wi-Fi Acceptable Use Policy

By connecting to the GRHS guest wireless network (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Purpose

The Service is a free courtesy for patients, visitors, and guests. GRHS may change, limit, or discontinue it at any time without notice.

2. Security and privacy

The Service is an unsecured public network. Information you send or receive may be seen by others. Do not transmit passwords, financial information, or other sensitive data unless the website or app encrypts it (for example, “https”). You are responsible for your device’s security, including antivirus software and updates.

3. Monitoring and filtering

GRHS filters content and may monitor network traffic and usage to protect the network and enforce this policy. GRHS may block websites, services, or applications, and may limit bandwidth. You have no expectation of privacy on this network.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service to:

• – Violate any local, state, or federal law.
• – Download, share, or distribute copyrighted material without permission.
• – Access, transmit, or store obscene, pornographic, threatening, harassing, or defamatory material.
• – Attempt to access GRHS internal systems, other users’ devices, or any system without authorization.
• – Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content.
• – Scan, probe, or disrupt the network, or run servers or network services.
• – Use excessive bandwidth that interferes with other users.
• – Impersonate another person or disguise your identity or device.

5. Minors

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a minor’s use of the Service.

6. GRHS staff

Employees may use the Service on personal devices for personal use only. GRHS-owned devices and GRHS work, including access to patient information, are not permitted on this network.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” with no guarantee of availability, speed, compatibility, or security. GRHS is not liable for any loss of data, damage to devices, viruses, or other harm from use of the Service. GRHS staff cannot provide technical support for personal devices.

8. Enforcement

GRHS may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates this policy. GRHS will cooperate with law enforcement and may report suspected illegal activity.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi.

11. Changes

GRHS may update this policy at any time. Continued use means acceptance of the current version.

Free guest Wi-Fi is provided as a courtesy. This network is not secure. Do not send sensitive information. Use is filtered and may be monitored.
