Job Duties:
Filing secondary claims to insurance companies.
Submitting medical records when requested from insurance carriers for claim payment.
Refunding insurance and patient refunds as needed.
Researching patient returned mail and updating their address in the computer.
Answering patient phone calls as well as processing patient payments.
Use of personal vehicle for daily mail run to each clinic and the Post Office (there is mileage reimbursement for this).
The individual should have the following skills in order to handle the job efficiently:
Experience working in computer programs.
Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Organization skills.
Ability to operate an adding machine.
Time management skills.
Understanding of Basic Mathematics.
