Our Goal is to provide a superior level of cleaning quality in an assigned area to maintain a clean working environment.

Position Responsibilities:
• Report to the environmental services director for work
scheduling.
• Perform daily cleaning procedures in accordance with GRHS training videos and
policies in assigned areas.
• Record work completed on area assignment checklist.

• Police assigned area at the beginning of each shift
• Respond to housekeeping department pages.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by department director.

Essential Functions
• Able to lift 0 – 40 lbs. frequently

• Capable of standing, walking, squatting,
bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching
continuously throughout a shift
• Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (25 –
100 lbs.) frequently
• Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart,
linen cart, or various equipment (over 100
lbs.) on tile and carpeted floors
continuously throughout a shift
• Capable of pushing and pulling furniture
and equipment (25 – 100 lbs.) frequently
• Must have communication skills in English
(reading, writing, speaking)
• Must be able to handle/interact with all
chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, VIREX,
etc.)
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays,
and even hours as needed per assigned
area

• Micromop • Loop mop, if needed • Bucket
• Wringer • Vacuum • Cart (housekeeping/linen)
