Registered Nurse- Circulator Position

The Surgery team at GRH is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Circulator position. While 2 years of surgery experience is preferred, it is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Circulator Nurse during surgical procedures.
• Organize and prioritize work to ensure smooth surgical operations.
• Collaborate with and promote cooperation among the care team.
• Operate relevant medical equipment and computer applications.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations as they arise.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with current licensure.
• Active BLS and ACLS Certification required.
• 2 years of surgery experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
• Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
• Call coverage required.

Additional Requirements:

• Must live within 30 minutes of George Regional Hospital.
